Retail Aggregation Program

Purpose

To allow smaller electricity consumers to combine their demand to reach the contestability threshold, making them eligible to choose a RES under RCOA.

Eligibility

Businesses or organizations that individually consume less than 100 kW but, when combined, reach the required threshold.

Scenario 1: Multiple Business with one owner

  • Total Demand: 600kW

  • Location: within same DU franchise

Scenario 2: Multiple Buildings

  • Total Demand: 1,600kW

  • Location: within one Central Business District
